Our first stop was t-rex bbq in berkeley. It wasn't what I was expecting, I mean it had white linens for crying out loud. What kind of bbq has real napkins? However despite its (or maybe because of its) fancyness it was really solid in the taste zone.
Afterwards we headed over to the missouri lounge for a drink. I'd never been there before, but liked its vibe. Also, before I saw the sign, I kept thinking everyone was saying "misery lounge."
While there we kept up the nerd friday tradition and mostly talked about movies, tv, and music. Including the new u2 album because karen and I really big nerds. For the record we both don't like it.
