The Daily Sabs

This afternoon Randall and I headed down to the marina for a dk birthday brunch at circa. It was a fixed menu, but the options were tasty, I had the florentine benedict and randall had the breakfast sliders (sans eggs of course). We also had bottomless mimosas. Randall was driving, but don't worry I had his share too.

The gathering was fun, we played catch up with dror and Melissa mostly, as the table was quite long and the bday girl on the other end. That was alright though, I like those two so fun was had indeed. Although next year I call dibs on a seat closer to the bday girl! I was really hoping to get to chat with the novio!

Afterwards I came home and took a champagne induced nap. I'd like to say that more was accomplished today, but well, that would be lying.

In other news, I seriously can't believe Christmas is a week away.

Also, the weather people told me it was going to start raining hard tonight around 10 and I unplanned accordingly. Now I feel a bit lame. Oh well, wouldn't be the first time.

After an active yesterday, I decided to take it easy today. And by easy I mean wake up and go straight into a nap. Eventually I got motivated and made some chicken lemongrass soup (morm loaded me down with lemongrass last time I was at her house). I was going to make holiday cards too, but am still waffling on the design. At this rate they're going to be 2011 holiday cards.

Later in the day Randall and I went to the grocery store. I don't know what station andronico's plays, but it was like an 80s dance party there. We busted some sweet moves in the aisles and then went about our shopping.

This is Reid, he's the newest member of the games team and is fitting in quite nicely. I think I'm saying this sincerely, but it might just be all the bolani he brought us. Today was his first time to the farmer's market and the bolani folks got him good. He brought an entire spread of delicious eats in for the team. He's going to fit in just fine.

In other news randall's trying out stripes and I'm staying up late because I'm taking tomorrow off!
