my ridiculous sense of time.
When it comes to work, I am pretty good at meeting all deadlines and
working on a million things at once. However outside of work is a
completely different story. I have no concept of how long things take
and am easily distracted. Today Randall lectured me on how I need to
focus. He says that if I tell him I'm going to do something like make
my burger (we were each customizing our patties and he was waiting for
me to finish), I should make my burger and not stop and check my
email, sort the mail, and change clothes first. I don't think there's
anything wrong with my thinking, I mean all that stuff was on the way
to the kitchen, so I was just utilizing my time wisely, right? Besides
that stuff took two minutes top, I'm sure of it.
Ps. To put my concept of time into perspective, I once asked Randall
if we had enough time to watch an episode of the office before we
headed out somewhere. According to him we had less than 10 minutes to
spare.
