Kristen. For those of you who don't know, ponyo is the latest miyazaki
film and it is incredibly adorable. However, if you are only familiar
with miyazaki via princess mononoke or spirited away, then you will be
a bit dissapointed. It was definitely geared towards kids and is more
along the lines of totoro and kiki and maybe a little panda go panda
and it is rated G. That right there should tip you off. It's just 100%
cute and not creepy spooky weird... Okay actually it is weird, it
would not be a miyazaki film if it wasn't.
Speaking of weird, the powell muni station currently has an entire
hallway devoted to seahorses and their weird mating habits. It's
honestly called the tunnel of love too. And while it's actually just
an ad for the Monterey bay aquarium, it served as the perfect backdrop
post movie about a fishgirl.
So here we are, April and I, falling in love.
