gate park. Sam's chowder truck was there and those kids were gonna get
their grub on. Not ones to pass up on tasty grub, Randall and I
decided to join them. It was a tough call to make though. Bloody
mary's at zeigeist were also calling my name. In the end lobster roll
won out (sorry Molly!).
We chowed down quickly (for the record, the lobster roll off this
truck somehow tasted better than the one at the restaurant in half
moon bay -- which btw is one of the best sandwiches in the us
according to the today show -- it was downright delicious) and then
meandered around the park. We ended up at stow lake where the green
water and dilapidated paddle boats called our names. We took one out
for a spin and saw a myriad of birds and turtles. It was pretty
touristy but pretty fun. And that sushi dog got to come along to.
The last two weekends haven't been the boat life I had in mind (paddle
boats and kayaks aren't that glamourous), but they'll have to do. Now
if anyone with a real boat wants to take me out for a spin, I sure as
heck won't say no!
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a fresh peach mojito with my name on
