I started the day off mellow and then went into full force. First up
was a BBQ at michael's (it was also his birthday) where we hung out
with randall's crew. We rarely hang with randall's crew, so that was a
fun time. Afterwards we headed a few blocks to anneh & meg's for an
America F yah celebration. I don't know if they meant it to be an F
yah sort of thing, but Eric, Rob, and I made it so. Eric even brought
an extra tablecloth/poncho/cape for me to wear. And I have to admit, I
think this picture is amaze. A little
Vince from the mighty boosh but amaze.
Once we had our fill of eats and pie, it was time for some safe and
sane fireworks. They're illegal in San Francisco, so
I didn't expect to see any. Luckily there are some scoundrels in the
bunch and we were able to run amuck with sparklers and other various
flammable devices. Afterwards it was off to the roof for more beers
and fireworks. Sadly, the fog rolled in so the big show was hidden.
Luckily there are loads of people with fireworks even more illegal
than ours to make the night sky worth watching. All in all a good time.
