around new York. We started by checking into the eventi hotel (so far
I am in love, the staff could not be friendlier, we even had
complimentary bottle of prosecco waiting for us at the end of the
day), and then followed that up with stumptown coffee, and a shake
shack burger. Verdict: pretty pretty tasty, but the corn custard was
just okay. For vanilla it was tasty, but for corn it was a let down.
The other plus sides were a great atmosphere in the park and a Seth
meyers sighting.
Afterwards we wandered around, had some coffee, some lemonade, hit up
strand and forbidden planet and then ended up in Washington square
where we totally got sucked into the street performers (what can I
say, that's part of being on vacation, plus they had a portable piano
and three dudes doing tricks).
Now we're back at the hotel for the veranda wine reception, and are
getting ready for dinner. Wd50 here we come!
