The Daily Sabs

Booooo, the iPhone ate my post before i hit send. Booooooo.

Essentially Kellan and I took the mini out for a spin, ate a boatload of ramen (after waiting for over an hour), and then hit up the fabric stores.

Then later I headed to Hayes valley where I met up with maya and her friend Scott. They were in town for the tales of the city and we hit up some ritual coffee before they hit the town.

What a day. First up off to Sausalito for the mast baby shower. Originally the shindig was going to be ladies only while the men chilled a few doors down. I heard they'd be having a round of poker, so I said I'd wear a mustache and join in. Turns out the sexes co-mingled afterall, so it wasn't needed. What was needed was an appetite. Delicious food all around including a tasty spinach dip, cake pops, and a susicake cake.

Afterwards I headed home for a nerdfest swap. Burger had braved comic-con and had bunch of swag for some of us nerds. We decided the best way to deal would be to get together to bbq and eat smores. So us nerds got together and burger played Santa. The best score was this sweet hunger games mockingjay pin. I squealed with delight. So so much delight. The odds were ever in my favor.

Once we had squealed enough and chowed down on way too many foods, we went to see attack the block (a British soon-to-be cult film). The previews they played seemed weird and childish and I started to get a little concerned. Once the movie started I realized my concern was justified. They started showing smurfs instead. Chris went and got it fixed, and after the movie got us free passes for later. Believe.
