the weather has been downright weird lately. while the rest of the nation freezes, we sit in the sun and nom down on ike's sandwiches and bi-rite ice cream in the park. it seems crazy, but you can't really complain. such is the life of a san franciscan (don't hate me, just remember that when you're enjoying a nice warm july day we will be shivering our asses off under a layer of wet fog).
sidenote: this year's mlk day was a lot better than last year's. in addition to it being a politically charged, hopeful, beautiful day -- unlike last year's meh, hard rain coming down day -- i did not have to spend it in an ER or bleeding all over a possibly-burning shopping mall. seriously, last year was downright ridic.
