it's not surprising at all, but the state of christmas evening (not to be confused with christmas eve) in the sabs household can only be joyous and exuberant (when guests are there), or -- and this is far more likely -- angry, frustrating, and full of yelling. never anything in between.
and since our guests couldn't make it, guess where today landed?
randall says it's because the my two siblings and i cannot be in a room together for longer than 30 minutes. we're fine in pairs, but when all three of us are there, it might as well be over. throw in a frustrated sleep-deprived morm, and we might as well have stayed at home for the holidays.
yet they're family, and i wouldn't trade them in for any other group of folks, no matter how civilized.
