Walking and talking

I'm not really good at keeping in touch. I like talking, but hate talking on the phone. I like writing, but hate sending emails. I like socializing, but also hate making plans. It's ridiculous, I know.

One of the reasons I dislike talking on the phone is that it's so inefficient. You're stuck and can't do other things. I mean you can, but not well, and not without putting the person on speakerphone and shouting the whole time, or using a robot ear. However, I do have a ten minute walk from muni to my house. AT&t's shitty coverage cuts out at minute 8.5, but before then I can walk and talk and that counts as doing two things.

Tonight bao gave me a call. We chatted (awkwardly, he was driving with me on speakerphone so it was mostly just him mumbling and me saying HUH? real loud) and then the phone cut out. We played telephone tag for a while and then decided we would try to do it all over again tomorrow.

Private to Bao: please to get a robot ear, your speakerphone technique is the worst. I played your voicemail to Jimmy and we could only understand every third word.
