i was going to make this a post about having a special kjell birthday beer o'clock at the owl tree - which btw, is pretty cute for what it is, even though i'm sure there will be plenty of folks who hate it because it's not what it used to be - but forgot my blackberry at home and couldn't moblog.
then i was goign to make it a post about how beer o'clock is great especially if it can still end in laze at home nerd friday, but then i realized i talk about beer o'clock too much, especially considering the fact that i don't really drink that often.
so then i didn't know what to do. but as i leaned forward to pick up my computer, i caught a glimpse of myself in a christmas ornament and knew i had hit gold.
ps. i have been trying to go as long as possible without turning on the heater (i was hoping to make it to january). however randall finally broke down and turned it on a few minutes ago. the fumes are ridiculously strong, and it smells awful like burning dust and gas. ironically i have opened all the windows in order to breathe and now it is really freezing in the house.
pps. the heater did this the first time we turned it on last year, and the year before, so god i hope the fumes don't kill us. this would be a really sad last photograph.
