This evening burger time and I ended up in a really random free improv
workshop. I forgot to take the pic, but I suppose that's okay as we'll
now have six weeks in early 2010 where we'll be able to take pics. You
see, she and I watched some semi-horrible improv (mostly due to one
person who kept going with the what you doin' girl sex and s&m
innuendos), and decided what the hell, we could do that too. So we
signed up and paid our dues. Class starts January 4. I am confident
that we'll have fun, but am not so confident that we'll be any good.
I'll let you know when our "graduation" show is, and then you can mock
us horribly. I would.
Ps. I washed these bangs this morning. You totally can not tell. Hah I
need a haircut.
Pps. This is me demoing the sound ball exercise.

As I’ve mentioned before, I am pretty terrible at keeping in touch. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that my inbox is ridiculous. As in most people see it and go, “Damn, that’s ridiculous, you should clean that out; file stuff away” (ironically this is what I do for work, but can seem to do for my personal email). This morning I asked Randall if there was a problem with email (we run our own servers) because I hadn’t gotten any in 12 hours (which is unheard of, not that I’m popular, I just happen to get lot of spam). He looked into it and said that we were out of space and that it was my fault. Then I got a lecture on why having a 500mb inbox was a bad idea, and how I needed to move some of it. And blah blah blah. Fine fine fine.
So many hours later, I have done my part and cleaned up my inbox. It’s gone from nearly 11,000 emails (with 1206 unreads), to 91 emails (0 unreads). How long do you think it will take until I get back to 500mb? my guess is not too long...

this will be our fourth summer in this house, but only our third growing season. each year i try to grow a bunch of things, and while i've been successful with some things (see cucumbers in november) i've mostly learned that san francisco has crazy microclimates and that our backyard only gets sun in one tiny little area. this is why i've decided to move things to the front yard. there's not a lot of space there, but there's a decent sized planter box that gets lots of sunshine. so sayonara horse tails, see you later leftover tulip bulbs, we gotta make room for tomatoes, peppers and more. in fact, i'll throw in some cilantro too just so we can grow some salsa.
and yes i am fully aware that growing things in the front yard seems weird, but i'm on a cul de sac and at the end of a huge hill, so foot traffic is pretty sparse. let's just hope those pesky neighbors don't want salsa first.
