7:34 on the dottie's

Somehow anneh convinced me to meet her for breakfast this morning at
7.30. Folks, my alarm doesn't even go off by then. She had been
talking about how amazing dottie's was, and I wanted to try (it is an
sf institution afterall). However there is always a ridiculously long
line, especially on the weekends. Anneh said the wait is better on
weekdays so we decided to give it a go. It was delicious and worth
waking up early for, but it was rough on a school day. Mostly it felt
weird to do anything before work, not to mention the instant food coma
I had to fight off.

On a related note, I think I was so stressed about waking up on time,
I dreamt about it. In my dream we got there at 7.34. Guess what time
we got there today? Weird.

Ps. Anneh actually wasn't feeling so hot, and went home sickly. Not
even a hearty breakfast could save her.
