well at least in one corner of the office. kellan thought it would be fun if we all brought in holiday decorations, and before i moved desks i offered up a static cling gingerbread house. we never hung them, so when i stopped by to say hello we decided to take a break and decorate. if you look closely, you'll see we accidentally hung the house upside down the first time. good thing it's static cling.

in other news the games team did a group lunch to welcome our new team members. apollo tried to take an overhead pic of us all in the elevator, but he had an iphone photo fail. gwah gwah! obviously we'll all just have to cram in the elevator and try again.

each year i tell myself that i'm going to sit down and make my own christmas cards. i actually did it one year - they were hand silkscreened even - but this year i've been dragging my feet. all the supplies were bought, i just never could decide on a idea. and now, with less than a weekend before christmas, i tried to force the creativity. i made a few prototypes and was unsatisfied with the results. so i decided to do a few things via printer first, only the printer decided to hate me, and the ink wouldn't dry, the puncher wouldn't punch, and then illustrator wouldn't save. and well, long story short, there aren't going to be any christmas cards this year.

next year, i think i'm going to make them in july.
