this evening randall and i went to the secret sherry society's event at swig. free sherry drinks and snacks, and lots of ol' timey aesthetics. everyone was invited to put their secrets on slips of paper and then throw the secrets into an urn. a couple of graphic designers then took the slips and made postcards out of them. all of this for some sherry. i'm not even totally sure if it was a general enthusiasts event, or a marketing event disguised as one. i mean i'm sure it was a marketing thing, but it was more fun and hip that i'm willing to pretend it wasn't.
