yesterday i arrived home to find a surprise package from the birdhouse (aka scottelbot). inside there was a package of stumptown coffee, an i-dog pup, and this little guy. an owl inside of an owl. i don't have a name for him yet, but he and his wee pal are going to join the growing menagerie of inanimate animals wooden or otherwise (remember pekka from last christmas?).
do you have any name ideas?
i forgot to take a lot of pictures today.
first i was going to take a picture of me sleeping in, but got up and going before i did.
next i was going to take a picture of me browsing comics at giant robot, but i forgot.
then i was gonna take pictures of us hanging out with sushi, but got so distracted by puppy playtime that i forgot.
in the evening i was going to take pictures of all of us eating korean food, but ended up eating all the food before i remembered.
then i meant to take a picture while chris was blowing out his birthday candles, but i forgot again.
finally i took a picture while randall drove home, but my blackberry won't send email, so forget about that.
when i walked into the house i saw my cutey christmas present from randall sitting on the entry table, and i thought you all should meet. so world, meet my little toikka barn owl. i heart him. he doesn't have a name yet, but he also doesn't have ears, so he can't hear me anyways.
