for the first time in my life, i hated being at the dentist. i haven't had that much dental work done (the standard cleanings, wisdom teeth removal, the usual stuff), but today there was a new gal who was a bit manhandly and not so gentle. she did the cleaning and the whole time i was squinting and making the "i'm in pain face." she kept saying sorry and readjusting the pressure on the tools, but man i could not wait for that thing to be over. afterwards the main dentist came back and took care of me. for a few minutes i kept thinking i was going to find a new one, but (1) i'm too lazy for that -- it's human nature i read it somewhere -- (2) he's actually a pretty good guy and i've been going there for over two years without problems, (3) his chair has a massager on it and you get to watch 30 rock while they clean your teeth.
yah, i got nothing today.
