The Daily Sabs

When you work at a place like Sugar, things like leaving work early to watch the latest twilight movie isn't out of the ordinary. And that my friends is what happened today. For the record, this movie was a pass. That said, I can't wait until our final twilight field trip.

While I love twilight for the mockery and ridiculousness (can we please take a quick second to talk about the wolf pack scene? Can we?!) the best part of the whole field trip was the hunger games trailer on the big screen!!! CAN NOT WAIT.

Scottel and jet are in town for c&j's wedding, and we planned a day of relaxed debauchery to kick off the weekend. The rain threw a wrench in our plans, but I think that was okay with my house guests (both whom are cozy and napping).

Ps. We're supposed to meet up with Randall's crew for hijinx tonight. I am wondering if we'll make it.

When norm was here we ended up making a boatload of potstickers. The only problem was that we ran out potsticker skins and had extra filling. I had more skins in the freezer (yes, oddly this is a staple in my house), but there wasn't time to defrost them. So this evening I decided to make the rest for dinner. Only I didn't want to sit in the kitchen, so I cleaned up the living room and set up shop there while Randall nerded it with video games. He just started playing drake3 and I approve of that message even though it's like watching a really long movie with a bunch of tedious battles.

In other news, Julie has officially gone sugar-free. Sad! At least she got her parting tissue!

Ps. Happy birthday jamers, we'll do dinner sometime soon!
