I was going to write a post about my new fun hat and how summer it feels and how sad but true it is that summer begins in sf after labor day, but folks I'm defeated and i don't even know how to direct my frustration.

This evening Randall and I took advantage of the blackboardeats deal and headed over to blowfish. Randall used to go all the time, but I hadn't been there in years. The place is still fun, but there's something about it that I'm over. The worst part is that I think it's because of the same reasons that made me love it 8 years ago.

Oh shit. Did I just turn into that bicyclist on portlandia? *sigh*

this afternoon my pal mary reno wrote the phrase "gazpacho goat cheese." naturally this got me excited and i needed to know what in the world gazpacho goat cheese was. i asked her for a recipe - telling her i'd cry if it was a mistake - and well, sadly it was just a typo (it should have been "gazpacho, goat cheese"). so i here i am trying my best to do what i can. in case you can't tell i'm trying to eat goat cheese and a tomato at the same time. but you know what? it's no gazpacho goat cheese.

ps. i must've gotten up on the broked side of the bed because today was not my day. i'm grumbles, irritated and ever so overs it. oh and i had to move from an awesome seat to an unawesome seat, so that didn't help either. this is also the reason why today's photo is horribly out of focus. i took a few snaps, put the tripod away, uploaded them to the computer and went "oh crap." not caring enough, i quickly followed that by an "oh well." as you can see, this was apparently my hairdo strategy today too.
