The Daily Sabs

After taking the slowass F train home (go muni!), Randall and I
stopped by Dinosaurs to grab a banh mi for dinner. Dinosaurs is a new
sandwich shop over by the old ike's. It was pretty good, but not
great, but is an awesome new option for the neighborhood. Plus there
is awesome dinosaur art inside and all my fave asian box drinks and
snacks. Also, when you eat a dinosaur sandwich you clearly turn into a
dinosaur. Rawr!

i got my hairdid yesterday, and once again laura worked her magic. originally she thought we'd go choppier bangs, but in the end i made her round them out. what i can i say, i can't seem to get enough of that pomelocat.

my eyes have been bothering me a lot this past week. as in enough to have to stop and put eyedrops in them sort of bothering me (and i don't wear contacts or glasses). i'm not sure why they're so bad, i think it's a combination of reading in poor light before bed, not sleeping enough, wind, and allergies. at some point today i walked into the bathroom and noticed that they looked really bloodshot. actually i am pretty sure i looked stoned. 

i forgot to take a picture then, so this is now at home (where they are still bloodshot, but not quite as bad). also i decided to opt out of the fun friday things my life had to offer (happy birthday laura, happy record release virginia), and just stay home. nerd friday returns.

ps. for the record, i was not getting high at work.

This afternoon randall, scottel and I went on a walking eating tour of downtown portland. It ended up being heavy on the drinking and not as eat friendly, but it was still a lot of fun (plus our guide was very awesome).

Afterwards we made up for the lack of eating by heading to clyde commons for some tasty foods. As an added bonus, amy and neal drove down from seattle to hang out with us. It was so great to have a reunion, I just sort of wish that starting the drink at 3 didn't result in sleepy faces at 10.30.

Tomorrow randall and I drive back, wish us luck.
