i woke up this morning with a weird itchy bugbitelike welt on my back. it drove me crazy unti i got to work and forgot about it. at the grocery store after work i noticed i had a weird one on my arm too. then ,while i was in the kitchen i saw some flying bug, or a piece of lint, i couldn't tell which it was.
everyone else is worrying about swine flu, but i'm positive i'm going to catch west nile.
today went by quickly. i really can't ask for anything more these days.
after work i headed over to Saks for a FabSugar event (sidenote: i had never actually set foot into Saks before). i had told deirdre that i would pictograph the event, and from a pictograph standpoint, it was just okay okay. i think it solidified my "need" for the lens i've been coveting. my flexible one is just meh, and the 50 just isn't versatile enough (i mean the fact that i have to stand a billion feet away from people in order to take their pic is ridiculous, not to mention the whole flash lighting ends up being a waste). i just can't really justify the cost of the thing, but i'm gonna does it anyway. i mean hey, i "need" it.
afterwards deirdre and i headed to regalito where we were serenaded by my mariachi friend and pigged out properly. we were famished because while the event was "catered" but there was no food. we were both pretty confused by that one.
ps. it's sleepytown time, i am too old for this.
