this picture was taken last night, so while it was part of yesterday's activities, it was technically today. and it can also be blamed for the reason why i forgot to take pictures of today's activities. it was taken at around 1am, hours before i even made it home.
after the races, my fellow loud-mouthed gals and i headed over to little star where we were just in time for the drink special. let's just say that the lack of drinks at the track was quickly made up here. next up was zeigeist where we noticed that we were the only ones on the patio not entirely clad in black, and then off to the paradise lounge for a bit of dancing and leisure for anneh's birthday. the paradise lounge is bigger than the last place, and has a good layout, but it's a bit clubby (not in a good way). it felt like that place i used to go to in cambs (bob says it was called toxic, but my memory is so horrid that i'll have to take his word for it).
so anyways, today's picture was supposed to be of tiki mugs and bowling alleys and birthday celebrations with april, but i forgot to take the pictures. i'm going to blame that on the muddled lack of sleep (did i mention that i got up at 7 and went to bed at 4?) and libations.
crap, is the weekend really over?
