This evening Randall, samshrew, chris and I drove to sactown for a new
years eve feast (we have to be at temple really early tomorrow). We
headed over to morm's house and then motored the three minutes over to
baby james' house. A few years ago he and his family moved really
close to morm. She was already James and sena's godmom, and our
families have been close for years, but now she just rolls up whenever
she feels like it.
This evening james' mom, dad, and grandma made us a huge feast. There
was abalone, shrimp, fish, chicken, duck, spinach, more greens,
mushrooms, oranges, candies, cookies, and lots of stuff I can't
remember. Like I said it was a feast. And it was a lot of fun. Just a
nice gathering of family, friends, and food.
